Are you planning to include any cameo character between the 47 assassins left? (That is, any character appeared in any other Suda-san game aside from No More Heroes.) What is your favourite No More Heroes character aside from Travis?
There is no character from my other games appeared in NMH2. My favorite character is Sylvia, as she is very charming.

We've heard you talking about western developments many times. Which is your favourite western project?
SUDA51: My favorite western game is Burnout Paradise developed by Criterion Games.

No More Heroes 2 is said to let the player further interact with the environment. Will Travis be capable of doing crazy things to Santa Destroy like painting grafitis, breaking street stuff, stealing, etc? What about doing Jackass antics, being Travis inspired by Johnny Knoxville?
Travis works his part-time job missions -which are made with 2D games- seriously, even though the content of jobs is antics. Travis doesn't go off the deep end like how Johnny does, but he does a lot of silly jobs in 2D!

Now you're working again with Mr. Mikami, would you like to take part on a Resident Evil game?
I love Zombies, but I don't take part on a Resident Evil game.

Did you ever have to eliminate any commercial aspect of a game to keep the expression/message? What about deleting artistic parts to bring a product to a wider audience?
As for NMH, I tried not to write a long story. If I felt some part of stories were too long, I did eliminate some sentences and make it shorter. I wanted to focus on creating this game as an action game. I try to entertain players directly with this game as an action game; therefore we cut off the open world elements.

We're supposedly going to play with a female character in No More Heroes 2. Is she also going to save the game in the WC?
As I am a gentleman, I made other place -not in the WC- for her to save the game. Please look forward to finding out where Shinobu can be saved after buying the game!

We saw a lot of El Topo influence in No More Heroes. Did you ever think about any other Jodorowsky script/ideas, or even Jodorowsky himself for a game?
You mean The Holly Mountain? I am interested in making a game based on his movie someday if I have a chance.

We recently talked with Kimura-san about his games and NMH. He really admired Grasshopper Manufacture working as a growing company, and said working with you was really fun and enjoyable. What are your feelings about GHM nowadays? About working with Kimura-san, how is it like?
Grasshopper is hoped to grow as a game developer by many people. We will keep growing to meet their expectations. I am happy to hear the comments from Kimura-san. I was able to build the very strong relationship of trust with him.
Sincerely, Goichi Suda.
