Yo sigo emocionado, pero faltan cosas por saber. Por cierto, en esa imagen Link sigue siendo diestro... Eso puede darnos pistas.

Unos cuantos datos:

It will display 1080p via HDMI. This time, the system will use a large, rectangular controller that has a big touch screen in the middle. The screen is 6.2 inches in size and the controller itself is just slightly smaller than the size of an iPad. The controller also has a built-in camera, speakers, and gyroscope.

In addition to the screen, the controller has a traditional set of controls that will make it easy to port over titles from the PS3 or 360: two analog sticks (both placed oddly at the very top of the controller on either side), a d-pad, four face buttons, two shoulder buttons, and two triggers. Nintendo would not yet confirm whether the touch screen was multi-touch enabled. In addition to displaying extra information such as a HUD or inventory, it can be used to display actual gameplay, although the small screen is not technically outputting in HD.

The Wii U will contain internal flash memory, although Nintendo did not reveal the exact amount. They did mention that this can be upgraded either via USB or SD cards. The system will use proprietary high density optical discs, though Nintendo would not clarify how much space these discs can hold compared to DVDs or Blu-ray discs. It is backward compatible with Wii software and devices.

Finally, for those wondering about when you’ll be able to get your hands on this hot new technology, Nintendo’s launch window is very large and still quite a ways away: April 1, 2012 to December 31, 2012.

La pregunta del millón: ¿El pantando es la consola o esa aberración es el mando de Wii U y es compatible con Wii?
